A 2014 survey of fish from Abrams and Cosby Creek yielded 4 new species of Plagioporus (Digenea: Opecoelidae). New species from Abrams Creek include a species from the gut of H. nigricans and an additional intestinal species from Etheostoma blenniodes. New species from Cosby Creek include one from the gall bladder of Rhinichthys atratulus and an intestinal species occurring in both R. atratulus and R. cataractae.
