This report provides a multi-metric assessment of natural resource conditions, at the watershed scale, for Glacier National Park. Specifically, the study evaluates a subset of the biotic and abiotic structural components that describe a natural ecological range of variation in areas of limited disturbance. A series of multi-metric indices are developed and used in the analyses. Seven major focal areas are assessed: streams, large rivers, lakes, fish, avian attributes, mammal ecosystem attributes, and vegetation.
