Canopy Surface Model for Crane Flat
Canopy Surface Model for Crane Flat. Yosemite NP, Crane Flat Area
A canopy surface raster model of several areas in western Yosemite National Park centered around the Crane Flat area derived from LIDAR data. LIDAR Data was collected by Watershed Sciences on July 21-22, 2010. Dataset was created by subtracting the bare earth (ground surface) model from the canopy model and so represents the height of the canopy or vegetation above the ground. Values range from zero up to 91.08 meters above ground. Values below approximately 0.2 meters likely represent the ground surface. Horizontal resolution is 1 meter.
