A modified Instream Flow Incremental Methodology (IFIM) approach was used on themainstem Flathead River from the So. Fork Flathead River downstream to Flathead Lake. The objective of this study was to quantify changes in habitat for the target fish species, bulltrout (Salvelinus confluentus) and west slope cutthroat trout (Oncorhynchus clarki lewisi), asa function of discharge in the river.
