Starkey EN . 2015. Upper Columbia Basin Network integrated water quality annual report 2013: John Day Fossil Beds National Monument (JODA). Natural Resource Report. NPS/UCBN/NRR—2015/983. National Park Service. Fort Collins, Colorado
This annual report details the status of key indicators of water quality obtained from monitoring in John Day Fossil Beds National Monument (JODA), June-November, 2013. Water chemistry and macroinvertebrate results indicate that the Bridge Creek and the John Day River are in fair condition, with the primary concern being elevated water temperatures. UCBN water quality monitoring is conducted on a 3 year rotating panel. As a result, conditions in both streams will be re-evaluated in 2016.
