Waterflow and Beaver Habitat in Grand Teton National Park:
Harlow HJ and Gribb WJ. Waterflow and Beaver Habitat in Grand Teton National Park:. Research Permit and Reporting System
This study is designed to examine the current distribution and habitat of beavers and analyze the habitat based on climate change. Field and aerial surveys were completed to determine the distribution of beaver colonies. Beaver habitat was constructed from vegetation, soils and hydrologic characteristics. The results of the climate modeling were then integrated into a watershed assessment to determine stream flows and beaver habitat along the Snake River.
