Fire effects monitoring data were collected at Stones River National Battlefield by the Natchez Trace Fire Effects Crew. The field season for this park is late summer. Plots consist of 30 meter grass/shrub transects. Data is collected to obtain fuel load using Brown's method for inventorying surface fuels and biomass, herbaceous cover and diversity as well as shrub density. Photographs are taken from each end of the transect to document change.
