Data analysis conducted on data from “Experiment 1: Influences of light and nutrient availability on Bromus rubens” were collected and analyzed. Plant community composition measurements (foliar cover) and Bromus rubens biomass collections for Experiment 1 were conducted in May, 2012. Results indicate that carbon addition is an effective method for reducing red brome biomass. Competition study testing native species competitive abilities against red brome concluded, analysis ongoing. Outplanting experiment (plants established in November, 2011), monitored and maintained. Survival rates are high (averaging x%) for outplanted individuals. One year post-planting (December, 2012), driwater tubes were removed and supplemental water addition was discontinued to provide a more natural sampling environment in anticipation of Spring 2013 sampling
