Daily MODIS imagery from Duluth, MN to Apostle Islands National Lakeshore

Kirschbaum A and Moraska-Lafrancois B. Daily MODIS imagery from Duluth, MN to Apostle Islands National Lakeshore

Daily MODIS (aqua and terra) rapid response images were downloaded, clipped, and renamed for viewing natural processes. The MODIS Terra sensor takes an image in the morning (~10 AM), while the Aqua sensor captures an imagine in the afternoon (~2 PM). Original daily MODIS imagery from Terra and Aqua was downloaded from: http://lance-modis.eosdis.nasa.gov/imagery/subsets/?project=aeronet&subset=NEON_UNDE and when data was not available from lance it was filled in with imagery from http://ge.ssec.wisc.edu/modis-today/. Currently there is no imagery available prior to 11/16/2004 and from 8/1/2007 to 1/5/2008, due to a disk failure. They are working on replacing this imagery in the near future. All downloaded imagery is stored at the NPS Great Lakes Network office in Ashland, WI.
