Psuty NP, Schmelz WM, Spahn A, Riddell D, Ames K, Nicholas K. 2015. Northeast Coastal and Barrier Network shoreline position (1D) and coastal topographic (2D) change monitoring: 2012-2013 annual data summary report for Gateway National Recreation Area. Natural Resource Data Series. NPS/NCBN/NRDS—2015/992. National Park Service. Fort Collins, Colorado

This Monitoring Report incorporates the changes of shoreline position (1D) and the changes of on dune/beach profiles (2D) in Gateway National Recreation Area from the spring of 2012 through the spring of 2013. Although too early to identify trends of change, the data do provide a series of dimensions regarding linear distances of shoreline shifts and linear dimensions and cross-sectional areas of beach and dune features on the profiles. A variety of figures and tables portray the metrics derived from the monitoring programs for each of the seasonal surveys and the differences among the seasonal surveys for the span of one year. Detailed analyses will await the Trend Report.
