This is the first Annual Report on dune/beach profile changes in Gateway National Recreation Area. It establishes the distribution of profile locations and first series of profiles. Although too early to identify trends of change, the data do provide the first series of dimensions of linear distances of profile features and cross-sectional areas of beach and dune features on the profiles. Synthesis Appendices list the dimensions of each of the seasonal surveys and the differences among the seasonal surveys. Detailed analyses will await the Trend Report
