GRSM collects air temperature data and Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont (GSMIT) collects air and soil temperature data as part of their citizen science program. iButtons are used to collect air temperature, while HOBOs are used to collect soil temperature. The sites are part of GRSM's phenology monitoring program.
