2015. Freshwater Ascomycetes of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park
PI is conducting a survey of sack fungi and incomplete fungi found on submerged vegetation in streams and pools for the ATBI, continuing the work of Dr. C. Shearer, GRSM-00111. He has found 9 species new to North America, including 8 species previously only known from Asian/Australian tropics and subtropics and not thought to be able to live in cold waters.
