An evaluation of cave resources and establishment of photo and visitor impact monitoring points (est. Summer 2014) for the Dancing Goat Cave in Glacier NP. Work is presented by the Bigfork High School Cave Club, under the guidance of advisor Hans Bodenhamer. Dancing Goat Cave is relatively short, about 350 feet long. It contains a few secondary calcite deposits, which are aesthetic, but not uncommon or of great significance compared to those in other nearby caves. The cave does not seem to be an important roost site for bats and seems to be used less by wood rats than are other nearby caves.
