ABSTRACT: Weight reductions due to evaporative loss of water under varying conditions of temperature and relative humidity are presented for Plethodon jordani jordani, Plethodon glutinosus, and Desmognathus ochrophaeus carolinensis, the data for the latter two being somewhat less conclusive. The experimental conditions employed were those presumed to approximate conditions encountered by animals in nature.
