The NISIMS Fields and Domains Guide contains the details of the National Invasive Species Information Management System (NISIMS) required and optional fields that may be input by the user, and those that are calculated by the data manager once the data is uploaded to NISIMS. Information on the type of data each field maintains is included, along with guidelines for those fields which allow user customization. This guide also includes the domains from which the users are required to select for certain fields. Most of these domains have already been built into the NISIMS Field Geodatabase and NISIMS Data Dictionary. The NISIMS Fields and Domains Guide has been designed to be your reference for collecting data using the NISIMS standard.
