The NISIMS Technical User Guide describes the tools and applications that are used to collect and upload National Invasive Species Information Managemenet System (NISIMS) data. This guide describes three methods for creating data that may be uploaded to the NISIMS Spatial Database Engine (SDE) geodatabase, the central database that contains invasive plants data for the NPS Invasive Plants Program. Instructions show you how to manually add data to the NISIMS Field Geodatabase, and how to collect GPS data using the NISIMS Data Dictionary and Collector for ArcGIS®. Further instructions are included for uploading data to and using the NISIMS Website.
