Location data in iNaturalist can be obscured for the following reasons: 1) the observer obscured the record- this sets a location point up to 10km off true. 2) the observer sets the record to private- no-one can see the true location except the observer. 3) iNaturalist obscures the record automatically for sensitive species, by up to 10km from true. This dataset shows the true coordinate values (as added by the observer into iNaturalist) for nearly all the observations made during the 2014 GGNRA BioBlitz using iNaturalistFor this dataset, the true location was able to be obtained via the BioBlitz project administrator whom can see true coordinates for any record that had been added to the BioBlitz project, regardless of whether iNaturalist or the observer had set it to obscure. The few records that show outside the boundary of GOGA had either been set to private, or had not been added to the project, and I was not able to extract true coordinates.Data were collected on March 28-29, 2014 and downloaded from iNaturalist.org on January 22, 2016.
