2006 BREEDING BIRD SURVEY

The Breeding Bird Survey (BBS) route in the park was completed on 14 June 2006. The survey followed established BBS protocol. Survey results for 2006 are summarized in Table 1. All data and other survey information were forwarded to the U.S. Geological Service Wildlife Research Center at Laurel, Maryland to be used in an analysis of bird population trends throughout a species range. Appendix A has location information for each stop along the route.
