The purpose of this report is to describe the range of threats that roads and road networks pose to wildlife and to natural systems, and to identify roads as an issue relevant to the Sonoran Desert Conservation Plan (SDCP). The report also identifies some local issues through a case study, and provides guidelines and recommendations for assessing and mitigating the impacts of roads on the natural resources of Pima County.
