The following standard operating procedure (SOP) contains information about preparing for the South Florida / Caribbean Network (SFCN) mangrove elevation monitoring field season, including a list of field equipment needed and descriptions of field forms used during sampling, guidelines for the numbers of copies that are necessary for each sampling trip, and example field forms. These procedures are adapted from Requirements for SECN Salt Marsh Elevation and Vegetation Community Monitoring Field Season Preparation, Equipment, and Training (Curtis 2013).
