This report describes the results of a visitor study at John Day Fossil Beds National Monument (NM). The visitor study was conducted from April 3-9, 2004 by the National Park Service (NPS) Visitor Services Project (VSP), a part of the Park Studies Unit at the University of Idaho. The report is organized into four sections. The Methods section discusses the procedures and limitations of the study. The Results section provides summary information for each question in the questionnaire and includes a summary of visitor comments. An Additional Analysis section is included to help managers request additional analyses. The final section includes a copy of the Questionnaire. The separate appendix includes comment summaries and visitors’ unedited comments.
