PI conducted an inventory the beetle families Chrysomelidae, Noteridae, Dytiscidae, Gyrinidae, Haliplidae, and Hydrophilidae. This is the first comprehensive effort at surveying the aquatic and semiaquatic beetles of the park. PI also documented the exotic species Klamathweed Beetle (Chrysolina quadrigemina) in the park for the first time at Purchase Knob and worked with interns from Tremont and Purchase Knob on an inventory of beetles associated with animal dung.
