Porella sp. nov. in GSMNP

PI visited the site of an undescribed species of liverwort (Porella sp. nov.) in the western portion of the park. It is limited to about a dozen small colonies on outcrops. All plants observed were sterile at the time of the visit in August. More information about this species may be available in the citation.
