PI collected lichens of the genus Sticta from 43 locations throughout the park and compared them with collections of this genus from other locations around the world. She describes two new species for the park, one with a type locality on the AT at Newfound Gap, and determines that two previously identified species are also found in the park, though a fifth species thought to be in the park is not. Her publication contains species descriptions and key.
