This plan proposes a mix of management strategies to restore, mimic and perpetuate natural processes that will maintain vigorous prairies and oak woodlands. A combination of resource protection, restoring fire through prescribed burning, manually removing Douglas-fir and reseeding and replanting with native species will be implemented. The Park's goal for the Bald Hills is to maintain the diversity of plants and animals that prevailed when the area was first visited by European man.
