Hassler TJ, Sullivan CM, Stern GR. 1988. Distribution of Coho Salmon in California: Annual Report 1988. Contract No. FG7292. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service

A report that documents the distribution of Coho Salmon in California. Historically, coho salmon used most of the accessible coastal streams in California, but the species became endangered. There have been a number of state, federal, and private agencies who developed and used a number of restoration and enhancement programs to increase coho salmon stocks. In order to facilitate restoration efforts, resource managers need to know the distribution of coho salmon in California.
