Excerpt: "The primary purpose of this update is to describe the results of the Minor Creek road assessment. It presents summary statistics for the project, integrates the new data with data for all of upper redwood creek, establishes a priority of roads to be treated, and highlights the accomplishments of cooperative erosion control in the upper Redwood Creek watershed for the period of 1996-2008. Another report, currently being prepared, will fully integrate all assessment data with additional analyses of completed work and will supplant this report. The project was funded by California Department of Fish and Game (CDFG) Fisheries Restoration Grant Program under grant agreement number P0610549 dated September 4, 2007.The grant was awarded to Pacific Coast Fish, Wildlife and Wetlands Restoration Association (PCFWWRA) for $92,292. The Resources Legacy Fund Foundation provided additional funding. Redwood National and State Parks (RNSP) contributed in-kind services, including maps and aerial photographs, geologists for GIS and database development, GIS technical support, data analysis and report preparation."
