Introduction: "The marine finfish inhabiting the subtidal waters off Redwood National and State Parks have not been studied. Currently the limited, and highly fragmented data, available on the abundance and distribution of fishes, in this area, can only be obtained from commercial landings compiled by the California Department of Fish and Game. The goal of this study was to provide a preliminary species list of fishes inhabiting the subtidal waters off Redwood National and State Parks."
