A biological assessment (BA) that addresses the impacts of the 2015 Fire Management Plan in Redwood National Park. Proposed action include continued prescribed burning in grassland, oak woodlands and second growth conifer forests, fire line preparation for those prescribed fires, second growth forest thinning to create to maintain shaded fuel breaks, and the maintenance of water sources. The letter of concurrence (LOC) from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) concludes an informal consultation on the possible adverse effects of the Redwood National Park fire management plan on threatened species. The USFWS concludes that under the proposed plan, no adverse effects should occur.
