Volunteer lake monitoring program centered around Flathead Lake in Montana (and within the Crown of the Continent ecosystem) that included 43 lakes, ranging in size from 8 acres to 122,000 acres (Flathead Lake), sampled between 1993-2007. The objective is to set baseline for trophic status with regards to human use-related impacts to water quality. Lakes inside Glacier NP included in this project: Bowman Lake - sampled 6 times between 1996-2005 Kintla Lake - sampled 5 times between 1996-2001 Lake McDonald - sampled 10 times between 1996-2007
