The purpose of this biological assessment (BA) is to review Redwood National and State Parks (RNSP) action, vehicle beach access, in sufficient detail to determine if the action may affect any threatened, endangered or candidate species and/or their critical habitats. The term of this assessment is for five years or through March 2015. The USFWS biological opinion (BO) is a formal consultation on vehicle beach access in RNSP and implementation of vehicle beach access in RNSP is not likely to jeopardize the continued existence of the western snowy plover, It is the USFWS recommendation that RNSP coordinates with the USFWS to implement key recovery actions identified in the western snowy recovery plan.
