The purpose of this biological assessment (BA) is to review the proposed Redwood National and State Parks (RNSP) action, helicopter use, in sufficient detail to determine if the proposed action may affect any threatened or endangered species and/or their critical habitats. The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) biological opinion and amendment conclude that the helicopter use in Redwood National and State Parks, Humboldt and Del Norte counties, California, as proposed, is not likely to jeopardize the continued existence of the marbled murrelet.
