Redwood National and State Parks and National Marine Fisheries Service. 2012. A Biological Assessment of Impacts to Threatened Anadromous Salmonids from the Sudden Oak Death Management Program in Redwood National and State Parks and National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Letter of Concurrence (LOC). Redwood National and State Parks, National Marine Fisheries Service

The purpose of this biological assessment (BA) is to review the proposed Redwood National and State Parks (RNSP) Sudden Oak Death Management Program. The aim of this document is to review, in sufficient detail, whether this program may affect any threatened or endangered species and/or their critical habitats. The NMFS concludes The program will have limited effects to critical habitat from activities causing: 1) a negligible increase in sediment mobilized from program activities, 2) a negligible increase in water temperatures, 3) a negligible decrease in food resources, and 4) from the low possibility of petroleum products or herbicides entering the stream network and decreasing water quality.
