This letter will report the amount of incidental take that may have occurred in occupied marbled murrelet and northern spotted owl nesting habitat from operations implemented within Redwood National and State Parks (RNSP) in 1999. Park staff has provided their accomplishments for last year and we calculated incidental take to have affected 1,623 acres of marbled murrelet nesting habitat and 532 acres of northern spotted owl nesting habitat.
