The purpose of this biological assessment (BA) is to review the proposed Redwood National and State Parks’ (RNSP) Trail and Backcountry Management Plan. The aim of this document is to review, in sufficient detail, whether these current and proposed actions may affect any threatened or endangered species and/or their critical habitats. The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) biological opinion (BO) concludes that implementation of the Plan, as proposed, is not likely to jeopardize the continued existence of endangered/threatened salmonid species, and is not likely to destroy or adversely modify their designated critical habitat.
