The purpose of this biological assessment is to determine the effects of the proposed annual routine and non-routine roads maintenance program’s actions on threatened salmonids and their habitats in Redwood National and State Parks (RNSP). The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) biological opinion concludes that the proposed Road Program and its cumulative effects is not likely to jeopardize the continued existence of threatened salmonid species nor will it result in the destruction or adversely affect the designated critical habitats.
