The purpose of this biological assessment (BA) is to review the proposed Redwood National Park (RNP) 2010 Fire Management Plan (FMP) and Prescribed Burning in Jedediah Smith Redwoods and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Parks to determine if the proposed actions may affect any threatened or endangered species and/or their critical habitats. The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) biological opinion (BO) concludes that the implementation of the Fire Management Plan, as proposed, is not likely to jeopardize the continued existence of threatened salmonid species or destroy their designated habitat.
