The purpose of this biological assessment (BA) is to review the proposed Redwood National and State Parks’ (RNSP) maintenance program, in sufficient detail to determine if the proposed actions may affect any federal and/or state threatened, endangered or candidate species and/or their designated critical habitats. The National Marine Fisheries Service's (NMFS) biological opinion (BO) concludes that implementation of the RNSP Maintenance Program is not likely to jeopardize the continued existence of the marbled murrelet or northern spotted owl or their critical habitat.
