The Alagnak River, from the outlet of Kukaklek Lake and extending for 56 river miles, and the entire Nonvianuk River from the outlet of Nonvianuk Lake to its confluence with the Alagnak River (11 river miles) was designated a wild river in 1980 under provisions of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. This document describes the purpose and need for the plan, the river and its public use, fish and wildlife resources, management objectives, and issues and management actions.
