2016 Fuel Models for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks - Standard 40

Folger K. 2016. 2016 Fuel Models for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks - Standard 40

Vegetation data was crosswalked into fuel models during a joint process with Yosemite. These models were then updated by the NPS based on burn severity data using a fuels succession model. Because burn severity data lags one year, the updates done in this version only reflect fire severity through the 2015 season. The 2016 season shows varying severities of low to moderate throughout the burns since data was not yet available.
