Reif B and Hartman RL. 2005. A Floristics inventory of the vascular plants of Santa Fe National Forest and the surrounding hydrographic region, New Mexico. Cooperative Agreement Between: U.S. Forest Service Santa Fe National Forest (via USGS, BRD: Order 02. Laramie, Wyoming

A detailed general floristics inventory of northern New Mexico’s Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) occurred during the summers of 2002 through 2004, and on the Valles Caldera National Preserve (VCNP) from summers 2001 through 2004. The overall goal of this inventory work is to produce a digital atlas of plant distributions based on collected specimens, and to produce an extensive research and reference collection for the forest and other regional herbaria (specimens permitting). Funding for inventory work was provided for two field seasons by the United States Geological Survey, Biological Resource Division (USGS:BRD) and the Rocky Mountain Herbarium (RM) at the University of Wyoming. Additional support was provided by the Aven Nelson Fellowship in Systematic Botany at the University of Wyoming.
