Executive Seminar for Resource Managers #2 Wilderness
Schlapfer TA. 1984. Executive Seminar for Resource Managers #2 Wilderness. Redding, CA
The Executive Seminar is conceived and implemented to meet the needs of those who are managing natural resources in today's complex, high demand, socio/political world. It explores the social and political systems of human interaction that are inherent in the management of major land and resource issues. The learning method is to select a current a complex issue and use it as a vehicle from which to extract implications for resolution of other issues back on the job. These outcomes are inferred and implied from the experience of working with this particular group on this particular issue. Participants must think in terms of how the dynamics of "Wilderness land use", compare and contrast with back home problems.
