It was funded by a fiscal year 2015 Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Ohio State Historic Preservation Office (grant number PF15AF0059) and a sub-grant to the City of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio (project number OH-15-13). The sub-grant provided for an intensive level survey of 70 properties in the River Area local historic district.
