This survey was funded by a fiscal year 2013 Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Colorado State Historic Preservation Office (grant number P13AF00043) and a subgrant to the City of Lafayette, Colorado (project number CO-13-015). The subgrant provided for an intensive architectural survey for 31 properties along East Simpson Street, of which 28 were found eligible for local designation, 14 eligible for state designation, and 12 eligible for national designation. Lafayette, Colorado is a Certified Local Government.
