This documentary was funded by a fiscal year 2013 Historic Preservation Fund Grant to the Colorado State Historic Preservation Office (grant number P13AF00043) and a subgrant to the City of Pueblo, Colorado (project number CO-13-017). The subgrant provided for creating a community-built historic context, a video, and intensive survey of one Slovenian, Post World War II "micro" neighborhood., as well as hosting two writing seminars. Twenty-four properties were surveyed in the Eiler neighborhood and a context plan produced. Two seminars were held, drawing a total of 93 attendees. Pueblo, Colorado is a Certified Local Government.
