These guidelines were funded by a fiscal year 2012 Historic Preservation Fund Grant to the Georgia State Historic Preservation Office (grant number 13-12-41917) and a subgrant to the City of Cordele, Georgia (project number GA-12-025). The subgrant provided for the development of design guidelines for the historic African-American Gillespie-Selden neighborhood.
