This survey was funded by a fiscal year 2012 Historic Preservation Fund Grant to the Georgia State Historic Preservation Office (grant number 13-12-41917) and a subgrant to the City of Chickamauga, Georgia (project number GA-12-024). The subgrant provided for a city-wide phase one survey of 365 historic resources, a survey report, and entering information into Georgia's Natural, Archaeological, and Historic Resources GIS (GNAHRGIS) database.
