This report was funded by a fiscal year 2012 Historic Preservation Fund grant to the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs (grant number 35-12-41938) and a subgrant to the Cibola County Historic Society (project number NM-12-017). The subgrant provided for a conditions assessment and preservation plan for the Grants-Milan Civil Aeronautics Authority Airport. The report won a 2013 State of New Mexico Historic Preservation Award.
