James JI. 2015. Intensive Historical and Architectural Survey of the Washington and Elizabeth Miller Tract and W.W. Lyons' addition to Lyons' Park, Which Includes the Center-Soll Community. City of Des Moines, Iowa; North of Grand Neighborhood Association. Des Moines, Iowa
This survey was funded by a fiscal year 2014 Historic Preservation Fund grant to the State Historical Society of Iowa (grant number P14AF00106) and a subgrant to the City of Des Moines, Illinois (project number IA-14-042). The subgrant provided for a community-based intensive survey of the Washington Miller/Center-Soll area along Ingersoll Avenue and identifying individually-eligible resources and historic districts while educating volunteers and owners about state and federal historic rehabilitation programs. This project builds on research and collaboration from the previous Greenwood Park Plats Historic District National Register listing completed in 2013. Des Moines, Iowa is a Certified Local Government.
